The Chestnut House is a lovely old Nantucket home located on a quiet side street in the center of Town, an easy walking distance to historic Main Street, museums, and many fine shops and restaurants.

The Chestnut House offers you beautifully decorated rooms with private baths -- all immaculately clean. There is also a charming cottage that sleeps four. Our sitting room, cottage, and individually decorated suites have televisions. All accommodations have refrigerators for your convenience.

Breakfast at one of two nearby island restaurants is offered year-'round.

Reservations must be accompanied with a deposit of at least half the total charge, refundable if room is resold after cancellation. To assure you of a complete carefree visit, may we suggest Traveler's Checks, Visa, Master Charge, Discover or American Express. When paying your balance, personal checks are accepted when guaranteed by one of the above credit cards. There is a 9.7% Massachusetts state tax.

Exact arrival and departure dates are necessary, and a phone call is your quickest way of being assured of a reservation, which will be confirmed by return mail immediately upon receipt of your deposit. Please, no pets. We have wireless internet access.
